NM MESA is a pre-college program for grades 6 through 12 in schools throughout New Mexico with an emphasis on STEM. The NM MESA Mission: Empower and motivate New Mexico's culturally diverse students with science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) enrichment.

Eligibility Requirements: 
Schools must have a signed MOU in place with NM MESA. NM MESA offers tutoring, advanced studies, college guidance, field trips, speakers, workshops, academic STEM competitions, leadership development, scholarship incentives, teacher professional development, service learning and parent support. Students are required to attend meetings, participate in guest speakers, workshops, and competitions and carry a C average. Full participation can lead to points that translate into dollars for a MESA scholarship.
Other Location Information: 
Each region is served by a regional coordinator who has oversight of the schools in their regions. We have 7 regional offices housed at UNM, UNM-Gallup, NMHU, NMSU, ENMU-R and the statewide office is located in the NM Tech building in Albuquerque.
